What is THCa?
Show or hide answerAnswer
THCa (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) is the naturally occurring, non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in raw cannabis plants. It's the precursor to THC: on its own it won't get you high, but when heated (smoked, vaped, or baked), THCa converts to Delta-9 THC through a process called decarboxylation, producing the classic effects cannabis is known for.

Is THCa legal in Texas?
Show or hide answerAnswer
Yes. Under the 2018 Federal Farm Bill and Texas law, hemp products containing less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight are legal. Our THCa flower is compliant hemp — it's lab-tested to verify it stays under the Delta-9 limit.

Will THCa get me high?
Show or hide answerAnswer
In its raw form, no. But once heated, THCa converts to THC — so smoking or vaping THCa flower delivers effects comparable to traditional cannabis. Start low and go slow if you're new.

What's the difference between THCa and Delta-9 THC?
Show or hide answerAnswer
Chemically they're nearly identical; THCa has an extra carboxyl group that prevents it from binding to your brain's cannabinoid receptors. Heat removes that group, turning THCa into Delta-9 THC.

Will THCa show up on a drug test?
Show or hide answerAnswer
Very likely, yes. Once heated and consumed, THCa metabolizes the same way as THC. If you're subject to drug testing, we don't recommend using THCa products.
